Q.

My daughter had chicken pox and constipation and she was excessively crying because she was unable to pass motion. My mother in law who got so stressed due to her condition n crying applied potassium permanganate on her anal opening thinking that it’s going to numb her area instead of applying lox 2% jelly which doctor had given for her. My mother in law is not very educated and she didn’t ask me before applying that on her since I was in office . Now I have noticed that her anal skin is little rough and looks hurt . Pl advice what to apply to give relief ?

A. it's very difficult to say anything without examining your child so its better to consult a pediatrician to have a detailed physical examination of your child and relevant treatment accordingly if needed for your child.
