my daughter had a fever for the last 5 days. crp is 3.6. please suggest medicine.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if nededed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctord please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr old boy2 years agoA. Fevers from bacterial infections go away after 1-3 days of taking the correct antibiotic, but may improve even without it. If your child still has a fever after taking 3 days of antibiotics they should be seen again by their GP.
