AdvithaMom of 2 children17 hours agoA. Please take her to the emergency room or a pediatrician immediately.
A severe hit to the back of the head followed by being unconscious for 5 minutes is a medical emergency that requires urgent professional evaluation, a physical exam, and potentially imaging (like a CT scan) to check for a concussion or internal bleeding. The fact that she has lost consciousness twice before makes an immediate medical assessment even more critical.
While you are on your way to the hospital:
Keep her as still and calm as possible.
Monitor her breathing closely.
Do not give her anything to eat or drink, and do not give her any pain medications until a doctor has evaluated her.
Please do not wait or attempt any home remedies. Take her to a doctor right away.
