My daughter doesn’t sleep well and sound during day time, she takes power naps only. during day time, she hardly sleeps for 1 hour though she feels drowsy. How can I make her get atleast 4 hours of sound sleep during day time??

A. At 5 months, babies usually take 2–3 naps totaling around 3–4 hours during the day. Create a calm sleep routine with dim lights and minimal noise. Avoid overstimulation before naps and watch for early sleepy cues. Do not use earplugs or put anything inside the baby’s ears. If sleep disturbance is severe or baby seems unwell, consult your pediatrician.

A. I think you should put cotton or earplugs to block the outside noise and make the child comfortable and make the room very cosy and comfortable for the child to sleep this should work and make sure that your child is comfortably full with the feed that you have given
