A. hello my daughter is having same problem. she is 21 month old. she has history of screen time upto 18 month after that we stopped it completely. Rashmi Gupta mam how your daughter is doing at present. we consulted pediatrician and she said not to worry. she referred us to therapist and he gave some sensory stimulation exercise. he said we will wait 2 to 3 months and then if needed provide therapy.

A. Yes meet dr for assessment DEVELOPMENT by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not. If child has good understanding and follows orders and command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. Talk more with child. Avoid TV mobile laptop. Involve more people to interact with the child

A. Yes It could be a problem I have dealt with the same scenario with my own daughter when she was almost 1 1/2 years of age and she was diagnosed to with the fact that she was delayed with our age group it was almost all close to autism but she’s not autistic so I think your child is also having the same issue a little behind the age which is why your child is neither responding to the name not is your child making an eye contact or not you should be consulting a child psychologist as soon as you can they will advise you better than start with homoeopathic medicine for it
