Q.

My daughter coughs at night and normal hole day whenever i visit to the dr .. They give antibiotic and cough syrup.. And she looks better while taking antibiotic.. And after finishing of course after 2 3 days she gets cough at night again.. Plzz help.. give me suggestion dr says there is nothing.. Its allergic

A. Sir i have bresol as an anti allergic syrup.. I am giving it for 3 days for now.. Its better now.. But still little coughing at night is there.. So what should i do.. Should i continue giving it or should i seek dr?

A. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy withc mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet cfood also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
