Q.

My daughter age 4 yrs 10 month having cold and cough at every 15 - 20 Days . She is premature baby. We consult to Doctor , he always prescribe the same medicine for which am not satisfied . As I need to know the root cause if it is happening repeatedly.Pls suggest

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the bodyv cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least onve month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

A. hi dear A common cold is a viral infection of your baby's nose and throat. Nasal congestion and a runny nose are the main signs of a cold. Babies are especially likely to get the common cold, in part because they're often around older children. Also, they have not yet developed immunity to many common infections.
