Q.

my daughter age 13 month...My daughter has constipation. I have seen 3 doctors.. all doctors are giving laxatives.. when I stop the medicine the problem is happening again.. what should I do now?

A. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water and fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child.d You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain. Constipation usually decreases with increasingd age of the child and medicines give only symptomatic relief.

A. As home remedy you may try this. Its better than giving laxatives regularly. Soak few raisins in the water overnight. Next morning squeeze the raisins and give a few spoons of this juice to ur child in empty stomach. Cut all bakery items. Include fibre-rich fruits and vegetables. Give Jeera water. Make sure the baby is well hydrated.
