Q.

my daughter 6.5 months old she having fever 99.9f we have given her medamol syrup still fever not reduced

A. dose should be proper then only fever will decrease Any temperature above 100 F is fever in babies Always measures temperature in armpits only.  No need to give any fever medicine if fever is below 100 F.  If asociated complaints like cough, cold, loose motion  Treat that accordingly as per ur pediatricians advice. Keep ur baby well hydrated.  Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day.  Visit ur pediatrician once.

A. Ek the fever is not a tribute with medicines that you are giving then you can ask your doctor to change the medicine you can go ahead with giving Calpol to the child and if the fever does not subside within 72 hours and get a blood test done
