Q.

My daughter 4 years old have continuous cough for about 1 month. Given all the medicine as prescribed by the physician..

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives myfedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever ifs there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hi I think you should try nebulising your child because that’s one of the best things that you can go for because that really helps a lot in relieving congestion from the body whether it is nose throat or it is in the chest so that’s one thing you should definitely try it
