my daughter 4.8 yrs old havg dry cough again n again wt is the cause n solution?

I have stopped giving cough syrup to my kids since I made this home remedy:grind 3 onions in a mixer without adding water.squeeze out the onion juice using a muslin cloth.now squeeze juice of 1 whole lemon.mix and bring this mixture to one boil.then allow it to cool.once cooled add 30 ml honey to it.mix well.store in a bottle.keep in fridge.give 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.but before giving take it out of fridge and bring back to room temperature.if this doesn't work for your kid then consult a paediatrician

Siri for finding the reason behind it you have to have a proper checkup of your child’s I would suggest you to get a check with an ENT doctor because this is their area of expertise or I believe they will be able to help you with the right reason associated with the problem
