Q.
My cousion sister had premeture delivery one month ago after which baby was kept in nicu for 2 months. baby was unable to feed. That is why milk production is not happening but the baby is with her now so please suggest solution for this problem.

RichaGuardian of a 5 yr old boy2 years agoA. Breast milk is best for the baby but if for some reason the mother is not able to feed then you should give Aptamil gold formula milk to her baby . It has good ingredients HMO sugar and prebiotics which helps in improving immunity and gut health. It's closest to the mother's milk.

Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactationgal counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shgatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. She should start taking some lactation supplements like Shatavari powder which is what is going to be beneficial in boosting up the feeding also good amount of liquid in the diet and good amount of protein should certainly be consumed
