A. Serve your child a well-balanced diet that includes lean protein, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy products. Kids this age should get 2½ cups (600 ml) of low-fat milk or fortified soy milk (or other low-fat dairy products) daily. Limit 100% juice to no more than 4–6 ounces (120–180 ml) a day
