my child is low in weight.how do I increase her weight...she is 5yrs and 12kg

A. Hello good evening !! Yes according to age kid is under weight. The ideal weight should be 15-17 kg. Feed 3 meals and 2 snacks include fruits and vegetables,milk and diary products (ghee, cheese, butter, curd, paneer), idly (urad dal recipes) , chanadal, moongdal,dry fruits and nuts,egg, meat, fish in regular diet,full fat milk all these helps in increasing weight. Also adequate sleep of 9-10 hours daily, sleep impacts growth harmone.
