Q.
My child is having much cough. Please suggest some medicine also with home remedies.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascorils LS 5ml twice daily to the child
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combinationx and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink.

first give few sips of Luke warm water at regular intervals of 2 or 3 hours
apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child
you can give mixture of honey and ginger in one tsp quantity twice in a day
