Q.
my child is having heavy cold and cough, I gave medicines to him along with that can I do home remedies like patting his chest and back with warm fermentation with eucalyptus oil?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes, definitely along with medication, do home remedies as well. Nasal congestion can be relieved with a few drops (1 or 2) of eucalyptus oil + coconut oil application on the chest.
Warm honey with a few drops of fresh holy basil (tulsi) juice and fresh ginger juice to relieve the throat discomfort and improve immunity. You many also add some turmeric in food.
