Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. age of the baby is 7 months and baby is having diarrhoea ecO norm is useful to replace the intestinal Flora but to treat infection baby should receive sufficient medication you have to consult your doctor

Hello, If your child still has an appetite despite the tummy ache, let him eat small amounts of plain foods, like toast, pasta, oatmeal, yogurt, rice, and applesauce. Econorm should be given 2 sachets for 5 days. Econorm can be used directly by opening the sachet or mixing with any liquid and food of your kid's choice. Most doctors today also prescribe probiotics (such as Vizylac, Sporlac, Econorm or Bifilac) to be taken along with an antibiotic. That's because an antibiotic usually ends up killing or inhibiting the good bacteria in the stomach, leading to side effects such as upset tummies.
