Q.

My child is 4years. He is suffering from stomach infection with vomiting and loose mucus stool. Doctor gave Taxim o 50 dry syrup?? Is it effective for these??

A. Taxim O Dry Syrup 50 ml belongs to a group of cephalosporin antibiotics. It is used to treat susceptible organisms (bacteria)-caused infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), chest and lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia) and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections).
