Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may bde painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry.
Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fromentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain.
Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

Measles can happen even after the vaccination but I don’t think so because of the same sometimes these things can happen due to excessive sweat onto the body and if it has happened right after the vaccination and it would be a reaction to the vaccination as well so better to check with your doctor they will be able to clear your doubt
