Q.

My child is 3 month old but his one eye is watery. Most of the time tears fall from this eye.

A. this occurs due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is very common in children at this age it occurs due to obstruction of pathway (nasolacrimal duct) from eyes to the nose for which eyes massage is needed regularly and this problem goes away with increasing age of the child meet your doctor for more infsormation and also go through various videos which will also tell you how to massage the eyes to decrease the obstruction. if the obstruction is not taken care of the proper massazge it can lead to infection in the eyes and more watery eyes as well as red eyes and secretions from the eyes

A. and if there is itching , redness , irritation ,green or yellow discharge from eyes then please visit your pediatrician

A. hi it happens because of blocked tear ducts so to open it , please give gentle massage from inner sides of eyes to tip of nose. it will alright by the time
