Q.

my child is 2year 8 mo th pld.. he cit his finger from rusty balcony grill.. blood also came.. should I have to give him tetnus injection for that?

A. As you will have got the baby vaccinated with DPT vaccine there is no need to give tetanus shot again now. Just make sure that you clean the area properly and maintain it like thatWrite Your Answer Here

A. Firstly don't cover up the wound and consult with a doctor. If all vaccination is done on time than no need of tetanus.

A. I talk to my doc just now he told me it's not necessary because he got dtap at 18 month it's not necessary

A. yes absolutely I would recommend that you should immediately get the tetanus injection done for the baby you should not delay it at all which is the child is hurt from a rusted part so it is better not to take any chance
