my child is 27 days only so he is not poop for 4 days... is there any problem

SAKSHI SAHNIMom of a 2 yr 2 m old boy1 Year agoA. If baby passes urine 8 to 10 times in a day and he is not cranky then its okay some baby can poop once in a week . My baby does same when he is newborn .

It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency axs well as colour as well as the smell of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal. the crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipationx

No it’s not a problem as kids can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days in this age as constipation is very normal for them so if the child is taking all the feeds properly and showing no sign of discomfort and urine output is good then there is no problem
