Q.
my child is 22months old he is only talk few words I am continuously trying to teach words with talking reciting playing book reading with him ..he is listening bt eyecontact is less he is talking only when he is interested..he is physically very active so I m very worried about his talk ..what I do how should I handle him or how I teach to him ..he speaks few difficult words also like aatya aaji bt words are few totally ..plz help me..when I m playing he only plays not listen me .

Speech is also dependent on hearing ability so need to check that too by ENT doctor.
Reduce screen time, encourage conversations , recite play time and bed time stories to your baby. Improve interaction avoid tv avoid smartphones to baby.
Incase all such tricks do not prove successful then should not delay help seeking and should see a pediatrician and speech therapist soon.
