Q.

My child is 22days old, from past 2 days he is passing gas after every feed and feeling uncomfortable. If we keep him at shoulder he is feeling good but if he sleep at back he is feeling uncomfortable and usually cry ? Any specific reason behind this. He is taking both motherfeed and formula feed.

A. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formulaji feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important. Enzymte preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

You can actually make your child sleep sideways also it is not necessary that you to make your child sleep on the battery if your child is comfortable sleeping sideways and you can change the posture and make your child sleep the side me as that one of the most convenient poster for a child to sleep feelWrite Your Answer Here
