Q.

my child is 22 months old and had episode of vomitting and diarrhoea for a day . Doctor diagnosed acute gastritis and adminstred antibiotic.I mistakenly gave only one dose of antibiotic a day however it was two dose per day. Two more days are left to give antibiotic.what can I do now.

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is assogciated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous hfigh grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
