Q.

My child is 2 year 9month.but she only speak 1 or sometimes 2 word.m very worried about this.full on silent

A. yes 30 month baby can speak 100-120 word . you may be contact with your Dr.

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech, understandinxg of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development asxsessment. requirexment of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortgable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to ggspeak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Q. my son is now 2 yr 9 m old.. before 2 month he started to speak meaning full word..before that he only says mumma papa..now he speak almost all single word( mainly noun) which he seen..most of the time he pointing and speak this word without any instructions... sometimes he speak any rhymes A to Z or count 1 to 10 with out any instructions..now he most of the time speak anything ..he copied very much..he copy our activities...now he copy our speach..and copy full sentance..he started to speak 2/3 sentence .. mainly 2 word sentance .but not make a sentence by own. he is very playful and involve with us at the time of play..how can I improve his language skill? is it speach delayed? anything worried about it?
