Q.
My child is 18 months old. Trying to wean off from breastmilk but he is not leaving . Tried lot of things like alovera, neem oil etc but he still takes feed. He sleeps after taking feed only though i give him good diet and make his tummy full before sleeping. In night also after every 2-3 hours he takes feed while sleeping. Please suggest how can i wean of my baby breastmilk feeds.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear it is recommended to continue breastfeeding till 2 years also is completely normal for baby to have night feeds infact breastfeeding if continued up to two years has lot of health benefits for child . Also Production of breast milk at night time is higher.
