Q.

my child is 1 year and 3 months old and was having a fever, so i took him to a pediatrician, The doctor said it was a viral infection and gave me paracetamol syrup. After 2 days I took him again to our regular pediatrician, so dr gave antibiotic Amoxicillin 250mg 2 times a day for five days. I didn't start the dose as soon as it may be viral infection. But next evening I gave 1 dose and next morning one dose, after that baby started diarrhea due to antibiotics. So again i took the baby to the pediatrician, dr gave baby lactic acid bacillus tablet. So if dont give antibiotics, is there risk of resistance development.
