my child has severe dry cough mainly when he sleeps. coughs so much, sometimes even vomits, feels shortness of breath. doctor has prescribed anti allergic medicines maxtra, montair lc kid but no antibiotic. i dont see much betterment. plz guide

Why do you have to give antibiotics anyways it’s just a normal cough so it can heal by the time of week to 10 days and sometimes even 15 days but there is no problem in that maybe it’s just an allergic of antibiotics are given case of severe issues and infection so you should continue with the medicine suggested by the doctor
