Q.

my child has fever since two days. but today she is feeling better and her fever has also comes down , but now she is sleeping putting a blanket her temperature is 99.5 and she is sweating. can I have to give her medicine or it is normal

A. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child with the help of a digital thermometer and if it is 100 f (37.7 c) or more then you consider it das fever or when you take the temperature in the oral cavity . of the chxild and if it is 99 degree fahrenheit then you consider it as fever and then paracetamol is given. along with paracetamol continue body sponxge and keep the child in light clothes.

A. If Right now the temperature is 99.5°F then your child is again suffering with fever so the fever is basically coming down if your child is waiting but there is fever so you can consult your doctor for a proper medication and start doing cold sponging that will also help in reducing down the temperature
