A. hi your baby is 6 months old now post illness the feeding is low so baby gets dehydration and leads to hard stool so give plenty of breast feeding and few teaspoon of water after each feed

A. She might be facing constipation. Keep offering breast milk as before. If your baby has already started eating solids or semi solids, give apple juice. Tummy massages induce bowel movements. Use gentle hand movements in a clockwise direction to stimulate the bowels to move to the rectal region. Bicycling of legs help. Fill your baby's bath tub with warm water and put a few spoons of baking soda. It will help the rectal muscles to open up and aid in the bowel movement.
