my child falls from bed on the floor what should I do, should I go to doctor or should wait for any symptoms, she cried a lot and after that she took her lunch and she is active

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided asft it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionalhly . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. It. Seems completely normal you wait for at least 24 hours if you feel that your child is still having any kind of abnormal behaviour like sudden vomiting or anything which is not normal according to you can you consult your doctor
