my child 2.5 months old doctor gave Broncolite LS syrup for caugh, but wrote dosage for above 1 year child in syrup box(cover) at dosage instruction area is it ok?

A. yes below 6 months no pd suggest syrup unless situation worse. pls change pd

A. hi, normally dosage of medicine and syrups totally depends upon the child weight.. i can understand that u r quite confused that how can a weight of 1 year and 2.5months baby can be the same..! but if paediatrician has mentioned the dosage, then do not worry at all.. might be because of the level of infection has made this decision..
