Q.

#AskTheExpert my cervical length is 2.4 cm in 26 week 3days and doctor suggested me complete bed rest and progesterone injection weekly?? it will help me in my shortening of cervical length??

A. hello mom ..ur tt at this stage does not depend only on length of cervical canal..rather ur complete obstetrics history and examination..so if ur gynecologist has advised this then follow it

A. Hi, yes it’s completely true please take bed rest and follow your gynaecologist instruction. if the cervical length is 2.7 cm then it is ready for the normal delivery. So to strengthen she might have suggested for injection. Please follow as per your gynaecologist and be on complete bed rest. Nothing to worry everything will be fine do not get tensed.
