Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or drue to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication . Primarfily you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.
