my breast has become painful and tight after I hav stopped breastfeeding..my child is now 18 months old..what to do..can it cause any problem

That’s a really common thing to be seen so I’m just going to recommend you currently that you should do hot compress and you can take some medicine with your doctor that is going to help in reducing down the feed and will drive dry up totally over the period
