Q.
my breast feed is not enough for my baby. so I was giving formula for 2 months as a top-up. For 2 days I didn't give formula as he slept well. from the next day as he didn't sleep again my milk was not sufficient so when I gave formula he is not drinking it and asking for breastfeed. and he is crying in hunger . breastmilk not sufficient and not drinking formula. give me a solution please.i am using enfamil

Author of questionGuardian of a 2 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. i am taking galact granules.. as my baby is awake for long hours.. breast milk is not sufficient if i feed continuously.. i am taking all milk increasing food but still not sufficient and my baby is not liking formula milk. so at time when he is in hunger for milk I couldn't do anything. taking capsules or any medicine to increase the breastmilk is fine. but what if even after taking all medication still there is less supply and baby not having formula. in that situation what shall I do?. pls help

Sudha SinghMom of 2 children2 years agoA. You can start lactonic granules, it’s helping me a lot. And also take proper nutrient diet… the more you will latch the more you will have supply.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. take promolact capsules for improving breast milk and good protein diet gfor further advice in this regard you better consult your doctor for physical examination investigations if required then only proper treatment can be given and advise also in this regard
