Q.
my boy is 50 days old he is sleeping only for 3 hrs including day n night (24) hrs (he takes feeding normally)weight gain is there but doctor told us include cow milk in the diet so that he his appetite would be fulfilled and he will get good sleep shall I give cow milk to baby?..I need assistance

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. it is not advisable to give anything except breastfeeding to the child. if the weight gain of the child is proper kindly continue to give only breastfeeding and do not give any other milk

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. no dear its not advisable to give cows milk to the baby at this page because they are full of protein and baby are not able to digest this much protein and this stage but as you said that you child is having milk properly and gaining the weight properly then what is the need to give cows milk you should better take opinion from some another doctor
