Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. that is normal.
It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age.
intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Seems normal. Your baby may poop after every feed or only once a week. It’s all normal. If baby is pooping after every feed, it's because as your baby’s stomach fills up, the milk stimulates the digestive tract, giving baby urge to go potty. If late also no issues. Bit not to wait more
