my boy aaqib 2 years suffering from fever.. suggest me

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it ay e ay viral .Fever is when the temperature is more then 99 degree . Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.

Hello You can give Calpol or paracetamol whatever you have available as of now you can give it according to the current weight of the child and you can repeat the dosage after six hours if it is needed also I’d like to tell if the fever is on the higher side you can go ahead we doing Cold sponge and do consult your paediatrician
