Q.
My babys is currently 5 days old and has ben diagonised with jaundice her mother blood group is O+ currently my baby is in treatment with photolights, in how many days will he recover to go home.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. It depends on the bilirubin levels. After a blood test, If it is mild doctor may stop photo lights and advise a direct sun therapy at home. If the bilirubin is high, then ur baby may continue to need phototherapy. Pls follow ur pediatrician advice on this.
