Q.
My baby will be 2 months old tomorrow. She is born at end of 8th month. She is having low HB I.e. 7.7 since start of June. Local Doctor has prescribed iron supplement , please advise. Last HB test conducted on 22 June.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. newborn having less hb need to evaluate in details fir underlying conditions.. Details of clinical examination and associated symptoms are required, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

So you continue with the iron supplement the level of the Iron should be somewhere around 13 for the age of your child it’s quite less it is going to take at least six months to 1 year to come to that level so continue with the medicine as per the suggestion of yourWrite Your Answer Here
