My baby who is 2 yrs old keep using mobile phone most of the time. In fact she loves play with it and keep her busy with it. What are the ill effects of it. How can I keep her away from mobile phones.

A. It's not good for the baby at all. The constant electromagnetic fields are extremely harmful to baby's in almost every way. Try the following - 1. Avoid giving mobile to the baby. 2. Distract her by playing games or sports or by simple walk in the park. 3. Use new and more interactive toys for her. Try some music toys as well. 4. Try to make some friends for her by visiting a park etc with her. 5. If she has cycle then take her outside for a ride. 6. Do not use phone in presence of your baby till it's absolutely necessary. Kids learn habits from there peers mostly. So if you reduce the usage of mobile then she will also do so. Keep your mobile on silent most of the time. 7. You can also give her some safe utensils to make some noise with.
