Q.

My baby was hospitalised for vomiting, fever and loose tools for 5 days. He was treated with TAXIMO at hospital and after release for 5 days. His tongue turned black. Its been 4 days he stopped taking any antibiotics. After 2 days of release from Hospital he again got continuous fever and tested positive for Adenovirus and was only treated with SUMOL DS paracetamol and nebulised with 3% NACL. Why has his tongue’s colour changed to black ? What is the remedy.

A. Hello dear parent! Can be due to yeast infection. It will reduce gradually. Just ensure that a good personal and oral hygiene routine is followed for your child. Consult your doctor for further advice. Brush your child’s teeth twice daily with Babyhug soft toothbrush.
