Q.

my baby was given pentavalent injection this morning ..how many hours pain will last after vaccination??can I give paracetamol syrup to reduce pain n how many drop of paracetamol should i give ??

A. hi generally the pain and fever post vaccination will subside in a day or two . in case of fever give paracetamol drops in prescribed dose as per baby weight and keep baby well hydrated and exclusively breast feed your baby for the first six months after birth
