Q.

My baby wakes up after every 30-45 minutes for peeing due to toilet training given by my mother in law. Does it disrupt sleep cycle. After waking she plays with the baby instead of putting him back to sleep. Is it ok for brain development?

A. Such frequent waking can disturb the baby’s natural sleep and isn’t good for healthy brain growth. Babies need long, deep sleep, so it’s better to let them rest instead of playing during the night.

A. Mam it is not advisable that you start toilet training your child in the age of two months you can do it of course when the child is awake otherwise you should start toilet training after eight months to 9 months of an age and if you keep waking up your child in the middle of the sleep to urinate and play with the child I’m sorry it’s not good for the brain growth of the child because the brain gets jolted when you force a child to wake up
