With increase in age, frequency of these vomitjngs decreases. what u need to watch out is , how is weight pattern of the baby, if weight is decreasing, consult a pediatrician
Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. hi
usually it is normal among young babies to spit up milk in curdy consistency with slow flow.
so please offer feed as per his or her needs.
keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding.
make sure your child latches properly because sometimes baby drinks milk too fast and swallows air with milk which gets trapped in stomach then at the time of burping or after feeding air comes out with milk which we call spit up.
as you are nursing mother, eat easy to digest food.
burp or hold your child on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes
maintain good hygiene
