Q.

My baby turns 3 months in 2 days.. since 3-4 days even though he is in playful mood he starts crying and refusing bottle even though he is hungry after 4-5 hours.. he has reduced his milk intake.. only after putting him to sleep I can sleep feed him why is this happening! why is saying no to bottle.. I 90% formula feed him as I don't have enough milk

A. first meet the dr for growth assessment. if growth and weight gain is adequate then no need to worry aboutd milk intake. weight gain usually decrease with increasing age of the child. if urine output is more than 7 to 8 times per day and child is playful overall then no need to worry much. see for oral thrush, ulcer , teething pain, discomfort,fever cold , colic whichf might be affecting the milk intake

A. Sometimes a child is genuinely not hungry they just suffer with stomach pain and that’s why they cry like this you should give a medicine for stomach pain wait for 15 or 20 minutes once the child settle then try to feed that is definitely going to be helpful
