Q.

My baby took 6th week vaccination on 7 and since then he is not feeding well,I m afraid if it will affect his health today is 3rd day so I thought baby will get settled

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombghiophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. Normally for a day or two till the time your child has fever little bit of uneasiness because of that and low of appetite is seen because of the same reason but you try to feed your child every two or three hours of the child is not taking direct breastfeeding try to feed with the help of a spoon or a feeding bottle
