Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping ford 15 to 20 minutes

Your child has gained weight of 500 g in 52 days which is not sufficient by completing the time of 60 days of both the chair should have a minimum gain of 800 that I’m talking about the minimum game that your child should I had so I think it would be good enough for you to consult a doctor and start giving formula feeding as wellWrite Your Answer Here
